These novels were eventaully adapted into a manga and in 1998, The Record of Lodoss: The Grey Witch was released.
Story: The Grey Witch focuses on Parn, the son of a dishonored knight, and his companions. Intially, his quest was to discover what happened to his father and to restore his family's honor until he is caught in the middle of an Ancient Witch's plan to create political unbalance throughout the island of Lodoss that would send send Lodoss back into the darkness of war and destruction.
